About the SACF
The South African Communications Forum (SACF) is a non-profit industry association. It was formed in 2001 as a successor of the African Telecommunications Forum (ATF) which was established in 1993.
The SACF serves as an umbrella body in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry for the public sector, private sector and civil society organisations. It aims to bring these entities together with the goal of partnering to create an information society and to bridge the digital divide prevalent in some parts of South Africa.
The SACF is focused primarily on serving the interests of its respective members as well as the broader ICT sector. This is done through proactive engagements at all stakeholder levels, including government departments and national agencies.
